Safetyville is celebrating 40 years!

Safetyville was founded in 1984 with the goal of creating a space for children to practice life-saving safety lessons in a realistic, controlled environment.

The Little City brought together community leaders, local businesses and corporate donors to sponsor buildings, making it a true representation of Sacramento.

----

Today, over 14,000 vistors come to Safetyville each year to experience the immersive learning environment for children to practice everyday safety skills, or to attend one of the Safetyville hosted events.

Safetyville 2.0

The vision is for Safetyville to evolve into a more current reflection of Sacramento, while still remaining a resource for children’s safety in the future.
