Sacramento Regional Safety Forum: Walking & Working Surfaces

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

  • April Sac Region Safety Forum
     April 2, 2015
     8:30 AM - 10:30 AM

This forum, as well as providing information about control strategies to prevent accidents, will be discussing an update to ANSI’s workplace safety standard, “Walking & Working Surfaces”, as proposed by OSHA. This forum will include inspections of walking surfaces and measuring the coefficient of friction on walkways, ramps and stairs to meet the new standard, so your workplace can be up-to-date before the changes are made official.

Workplace injuries and illnesses cost companies 170 billion dollars per year, according to OSHA. Yet, by taking preventative measures, according to US Department of Labor, businesses can reduce their cost – or potential future costs – by 20 to 40 percent. This is why, on April 2nd from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., we are hosting a forum focused on how to deal with avoiding accidents so your workforce can stay safe, healthy and productive.

Speakers:

Ron Lee , Safety Trainer at Safety Center Inc.
