With decades of experience in workplace safety, Jo Ann Hurtado is a Certified Environmental Trainer (CET) and a Certified Project Management Professional (cPMP) who has dedicated her career to enhancing safety leadership and compliance. She has trained thousands of professionals through her work as an OSHA Instructor at institutions like CSUDH and Chabot Las Positas Community College District, teaching courses in both General and Construction Industry standards under Cal OSHA and Fed OSHA regulations.
Jo Ann has held key safety leadership roles, including as Sr. EH&S Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE), where she developed ergonomic assessment protocols that significantly reduced workplace injuries and costs. As Principal Consultant at SUNDANCE TRAINING & CONSULTING GROUP, she has guided organizations in regulatory compliance, safety program development, and leadership training.
