Traffic Control and Flagging

WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR

This course is required for employees working in California to stay in compliance with §1599 (f) & (g). 

Training is required for employees working at locations on a construction site where barricades and warning signs cannot control the moving traffic.

Course Overview

This training course is designed to instruct participants on the fundamentals of traffic controls as set forth in accordance with the current California Manual of Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD) 2014. Topics covered during the 8-Hour Traffic Control & Flagging program include warning sign placement, proper fundamentals of flagging, moving traffic, and signaling directions used by flaggers.

REQUIREMENTS
