  • Payments can be made easily on our website. Please have your Client Identification Number (this can be found on your class schedule or you can call us at 916-438-3360) or your full name and birthdate (Enter your birthday in the Account Number field). To make a payment click here.

 

  • Payments are processed through PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to make a payment online. Choose the “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” option at the log in screen.

Unfortunately, the State of California does not allow for programs to be accelerated.

Yes. The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Behavioral Health Licensing and Certification Division, Driving-Under-The-Influence (DUI) Section, licenses and performs compliance monitoring on all DUI programs in California.  Safety Center has been an accredited program for more than 25 years. All Program fees are determined by the State of California and vary per County. Program fees for the Counties in which Safety Center provides services are as follows: 

At the time of your enrollment, a $300 down payment is required for all programs (with exception of Wet & Reckless)*^. 

*Sacramento County Wet & Reckless requires a $390 down payment. Yolo County Wet & Reckless requires a $300 down payment.

  • We offer classes Monday – Thursday that start as early as 8:15 AM and as late as 7:30 PM* 
  • We offer classes Friday and Saturday from 8:15 AM to 2:00 PM 

*PLEASE NOTE: Availability is not guaranteed 

  • You will have either an education group, process group or individual session weekly until your program is complete 
  • Education group and process group sessions are two hours  
  • Individual sessions begin with an initial 45 minute session, then are 15 minutes in length thereafter 
  • Safety Center will accept any certified proof of identification (passport, military ID)  
  • Please call or schedule an appointment if you do not have certified proof of identification. To schedule an appointment, click here.
  • We need a court referral that specifically stipulates your required length of program IF you have been convicted within the last 90 days.  
  • If your conviction is older than 90 days, we will need a copy of your public driving record (also known as K4). For a limited period of time you can retrieve a copy of your driver’s record on the DMV website by clicking here.
  • IF you have not been convicted yet, please submit your Administrative Per Se (pink slip provided to you on day of arrest). If you do not have this document, please provide a copy of your DMV driver’s record. For a limited period of time you can retrieve a copy of your driver’s record on the DMV website by clicking here.
  • If your DUI is 12 months or older, please provide a copy of your DMV driving record. For a limited period of time you can retrieve a copy of your driver’s record on the DMV website by clicking here.
  • If you received a DUI out of state and it does not appear on your CA Driving record: call us at 916-438-3360 or schedule an appointment that fits within your schedule here with a CARE Team Member.

Yes, you can enroll prior to seeing a judge and receiving a determination on your Program. You can start the enrollment process online by clicking here.

Each County has timeframe requirements for you to enroll in the court-ordered Program before you will need to appear again in court before a Judge. The timeframes for the counties we serve are as follows: 

  • Sacramento County: 21 days 
  • Stanislaus County: 60 days 
  • Yolo County: 1 year

I’ve finished my program. What’s next?

Every case is different, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has the sole authority to reissue your license. Call DMV’s Mandatory Actions Unit to learn more about your particular situation at 916-657-6525 (when the automated system answers press 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 1).

  • In order to “complete” the program, you must satisfy all requirements of the County you are enrolled in, as well as a zero balance due on your account.
  • Notice of the completion of your program will be e-filed with DMV within 10 days.
  • A copy of your Certificate of Completion will be e-mailed to your e-mail address on file.
  • Once you have received the certificate of completion email, you can call DMV’s Mandatory Actions Unit to learn more about your particular situation at 916-657-6525 (when the automated system answers press 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 1).
