Keep your teen safe with Safety Center’s unique interactive simulated driving course!

Reduce car crashes by 2/3 for new teen drivers by giving them realistic "behind the wheel" experience on a full-scale driving simulator.

An investment in lessons on the FOCUSimulator can prevent costly car crashes by teaching teens to drive defensively in complex and hazardous traffic conditions.

This course is appropriate for any novice driver, and it is ideal for those with special needs.

The Safety Center also has a teen alcohol and drug education program called JADE.

Our Community division also offers Motorcycle Safety and Mature Driver defensive driving classes for seniors.

Safety Center Occupational Safety Programs

and should be required
by all."

Traffic Control and Flagging Training
The class meets Cal/OSHA-8 Construction requirements and incorporates the new California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways guidelines.

Classes are available at our campus in Sacramento as well as onsite. A one-day, 7 hour class, and a 1/2 day refresher class are available. Call Quen at (916) 438-3387 or email the Safety Center for more information.

Competent Person Fall Protection
This is a one-day class covering Federal State fall protection requirements. The course explores active, passive and alternate fall protection systems in detail.

Competent Person Excavation
This one-day course covers Cal-OSHA statistics, excavation standards, use of protective systems, soil analysis, timber and aluminum hydraulic shoring and tabulated data engineering.

First AID/CPR
Learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in the case of an airway obstruction or choking. Students will also learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness.
