Safetyville’s 26th Annual Halloween Haunt took place on Saturday, October 28. THANK YOU for helping to make this year’s event the largest yet!
Over 1,600 people joined us for the 2017 Halloween Haunt and enjoyed Trick-or-Treating, Carnival Games, entertainment, a costume parade and pie eating contest! Thanks 106.5 the end for capturing some of the excitement and sharing on your Instagram! #SafetyvilleUSA

Safetyville USA’s Annual Free Family Bike Nights is a great way to enjoy a night out with the family.

This course will increase your knowledge of OSHA’s Standard 29 CFR 1910.146.  Discover scope and definitions, general requirements, permit space programs, and rescue and training.  This is an introductory course and does not fulfill the training requirements to certify the student as a “competent person.”  Topics include: definitions, permit space program, general requirements, and rescue requirements.

In this three-day course get the information you need to combat musculoskeletal injuries. Course highlights include: industrial case studies covering analysis and design of work stations and equipment, laboratory sessions in manual lifting and coverage of OSHA’s proposed ergonomic protection standard. Topics include: repetitive stress injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, video displays, workstation and tool design, and seating.

This course covers the OSHA Fall Protection Standards and an overview of fall protection methods. Topics covered include the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, the limitations of fall arrest equipment, and OSHA policies regarding fall protection. Students will participate in workshops demonstrating the inspection and use of fall protection equipment, residential construction fall protection, training requirements, and developing a fall protection program.

This three-day course covers the OSHA Excavation Standard and safety and health aspects of excavation and trenching.  Topics include practical soil mechanics and its relationship to the stability of shored and unshored slopes and walls of excavations, introduction of various types of shoring, soil classification, and use of protective systems.  Testing methods are demonstrated and students participate in workshops in the use of instruments such as penetrometers, torvane shears, and engineering rods.

This 1-day program was developed by Safety Center in partnership with Cal/OSHA Consultation to assist supervisors, team leads, safety coordinators, or anyone who is responsible for implementing an EFFECTIVE Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) by addressing the eight core elements of California’s Code of Regulations, Title 8 -§3203: Responsibility, Compliance, Communication, Hazard Identification, Hazard Correction, Accident Investigation, Training, and Recordkeeping. Students will gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
