Cal/OSHA Recordkeeping and Reporting Requirements

This course is designed to ensure that the workplace professional is aware of the importance of workplace health and safety documentation requirements and understands the reporting obligations.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Provide information about appropriate recordkeeping in compliance with Cal/OSHA Standards with special emphasis on IIPP, HIPP and CPP
  • Identify what constitutes:
    • Recordable injury and/or illness
    • Reportable injury and/or illness
  • Review Cal/OSHA Appeals Board Decisions After Reconsiderations regarding recordkeeping and reporting laws
  • Use decisions and case studies to develop and maintain a recordkeeping system in compliance with Cal/OSHA retention requirements

 

What do you need to participate in one of our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) courses?

  • Computer
  • Camera (standard on most laptops)
  • Reliable internet connection
  • A desire to enhance your safety knowledge!

Students will receive

  • Digital Student Workbook – It is highly recommended to print out the workbook prior to class
  • Course Completion Certificate (upon passing final exam)

 

Meet the Trainer

Ursula L. Clemons, Esq., has over 27 years’ experience as an attorney and Judge with the State of California. She retired in December 2020 as the Presiding Administrative Law Judge (PALJ) for the Cal/OSHA Appeals Board (OSHAB) performing case evaluation/consultation
