Ergonomics in the Workplace

General ergonomics principles will be presented along with a hands on activity assessing non-powered hand tools, as well as an introduction to push / pull guidelines and other musculoskeletal injury risk exposures using hand carts.

Kristy Schultz

Kristy Schultz, MS, CIE, holds an MS in Human Factors/Ergonomics from San Jose State University and is a Certified Industrial Ergonomist.  She is an ergonomics consultant for State Fund with a history of working between her current employer and Cal/OSHA.  Her work has included developing quality publications, training, and consulting services to various types of businesses, both industrial and office.  Kristy has been a speaker on ergonomics in the workplace to employer groups, colleges, various organizations, & national conferences. She is also co-chairperson of the non-profit group, Ergonomics Roundtable of Sacramento.
