For 40 years, Safety Center’s unique children’s program, Safetyville USA, has been a cornerstone of safety education for kids. This incredible 1/3 scale town, complete with sidewalks, crosswalks, stop lights, signs, a police and fire station, a dental office, a grocery store, and more, spans three and a half acres. It provides a safe and engaging environment where children can learn and practice essential safety skills, laying the foundation for a lifetime of safety and health.
Since its opening in 1984, Safetyville has become a beloved landmark in Sacramento, recognized by generations of residents. Despite the rapid advancements in technology and modernization around us, Safetyville has preserved its charm and mission.
