Dawn Bollen:

A Safety Specialist and Internal BAPP® Consultant at E&J Gallo Winery, Dawn walked through the Gallo Winery doors in Modesto over 20 years ago. Over the next two decades she has taken on various roles; Production Team Lead, Safety and Training Team Lead and finally her current position as an Internal Consultant.

Dawn is a Certified – BAPP® Technology Specialist. She received her Certification of Behavioral Accident Prevention Process (BAPP) from Dekra Insight, Oxnard.

• Develop, implement and delivered training programs.
• 15+ years’ experience in education/training
• 16+ years’ experience in Behavioral Accident Prevention Process

Ken Karn

Ken Karn is the Sr. Corporate Safety Specialist for E&J Gallo Winery. His experience is rooted in management and supervision within E&J Gallo Winery. He started his career at Gallo in 1975 and has held numerous positions in the Operations/Production area including support staff, first line supervisor, Shift Superintendent, and several middle management positions in the Warehouse. He was the Warehouse Safety & Training Manager for 10 years where he was responsible for all the safety and general training needs of over 300 employees. His experience isn’t limited to safety or warehousing. He also has numerous professional trainer certifications in effective leadership and improving/developing teamwork skills.

20 years ago, Ken began the journey of becoming a Certified Behavioral Safety Internal Consultant. He is certified to teach and train employees at E&J Gallo Winery in the founding principles behind and the intricate details within behavioral safety as defined by BST® (Behavioral Science Technology®) and Dekra Insight.
