Forklift Operator Safety Training

This 1-day forklift training course is specific to the counterbalance forklift (ITA* Classes 1, 4, and 5) and will teach participants how to safely and properly operate a forklift. Based on the IVES theory training, this course is designed to provide participants with forklift knowledge and skills through classroom instruction and hands-on exercises. A Certificate of Completion will be provided to all participants who successfully demonstrate the minimum classroom knowledge, skill, and operation needed to operate a forklift.

Note: To comply with Cal/OSHA 3668(b)(3), students who successfully complete forklift operator training must also meet additional requirements. This includes a workplace-specific evaluation using the site-specific and equipment-specific forklift. Only after this evaluation will the operator be considered competent and authorized in accordance with Cal/OSHA requirements.
