Traffic Control and Flagging Train-the-Trainer

This class will teach attendees how to effectively train in-house employees the principles of traffic control & flagging. The program covers and assists organizations in complying with CSO 1598, CSO 1599, and the 2014 California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (Revision 3) including:

 

  • Sign placement
  • Proper fundamentals of flagging
  • Moving traffic
  • Signaling directions
  • Proper barriers
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Traffic control plans

Students who successfully complete the course will be provided materials for training including:

  • Powerpoints
  • Pretests
  • Tests
  • Answer Keys
  • Traffic control exercises

Note that trainers will be required to purchase student manuals for each student they train and pay an annual fee for maintenance of the program. Click here for pricing and details.

Prerequisite: Participants are required to complete Safety Center’s Traffic Control and Flagging course before taking this training
