Managing OSHA Recordkeeping

This course will provide participants with an understanding of what is involved, and how to maintain appropriate records in compliance with OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards, with special emphasis on occupational injury & illness records, Workers’ Compensation requirements, and safety programming records. This class takes the guesswork out of recordkeeping procedures and compliance with OSHA requirements.

Course curriculum includes:

• Understanding differences between OSHA recordkeeping and Workers’ Compensation documentation
• Differences Between Cal-OSHA and Fed-OSHA Recordkeeping
• OSHA Occupational Injury & Illness Recordkeeping Details
• Maintaining documentation for Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) requirements
• Cal-OSHA Serious Injury/Illness Reporting Requirements
• Cal/OSHA Form 300, 300A, 301
