Selling Safety

This course is one of the most important classes within the Safety Management Specialist Certificate, because participants learn techniques to improve their working relationships and become more effective in promoting the importance of workplace safety. Participants learn how to develop an environment of trust with co-workers and to build support for new ideas.

Course curriculum includes:

  • Presenting ideas from the user’s point of view
  • Selling your ideas more effectively with internal superiors, subordinates and peers
  • Analyzing and responding to the needs and expectations of management and/or clients
  • 21 Steps to Success in Selling Safety
  • Steps to Accelerate Excellence in Your Organization
  • Being positive in every day interactions
  • Choosing the right attitude to achieve exceptional working relationships

Who should attend:
Collateral duty, part-time, or full-time safety people, safety committee members, safety coordinators, safety specialists, safety managers, loss control managers, and operations managers, human resources, safety consultants, or anyone whose job includes the responsibility for workplace safety and health, or anyone who is responsible for developing and implementing an effective safety program.
