Open Enrollment – Virtual Instructor-Led Training

Safety Center is excited to be offering Virtual Instructor-Led Training Open Enrollment Courses. Only have a couple of employees to train? Open enrollment is the way to go!

Our courses have been designed to allow for maximum engagement. Participants are able to engage with instructors throughout the course and learn from insight from other participants. Same great training you have come to expect, now on a virtual platform.

General Safety Training

 

  • DDC-4 Defensive Driver Course
    • This 4-hour course covers the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Curriculum. It is not a course on how to drive, but how to drive defensively.
  • Excavation Competent Person
    • This course covers Cal/OSHA statistics, excavation standards, use of protective systems, soil analysis, timber and aluminum hydraulic shoring, tabulated data engineering, and competent person requirements.
  • HAZWOPER 8-Hour Refresher
    • This HAZWOPER 8-hour training provides a refresher for the general overview of the basics of hazardous waste operations.
  • Traffic Control & Flagging
    • This Traffic Control & Flagging program incorporates the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD) 2014 and covers warning sign placement, proper fundamentals of flagging, moving traffic, and signaling directions used by flaggers.

Cal/OSHA Training

 

  • Cal/OSHA 10 for Construction
    • This 2-day course covers safety and health hazard recognition and prevention for workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone who “wears the hat of safety” at their company.
  • Cal/OSHA 10 for General Industry
    • This 2-day course covers safety and health hazard recognition and prevention for workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone who “wears the hat of safety” at their company.
  • Cal/OSHA 30 for Construction
    • The OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.
  • Cal/OSHA 30 for General Industry
    • The Cal/OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training was specifically devised for safety directors, forepersons, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on Cal/OSHA compliance issues.
  • Cal/OSHA 30 for General Industry – Cannabis
    • This Cal/OSHA 30-hour General Industry course is specifically designed and customized to address common safety and health issues by identifying hazards, and mitigating solutions in the prevention of injuries and illnesses as it relates to the cannabis industry.
  • Cal/OSHA Recordkeeping and Reporting Requirements
    • This course is designed to ensure that the workplace professional is aware of the importance of workplace health and safety documentation requirements and understands the reporting obligations.

Fed/OSHA Training

 

  • Fed/OSHA 30 for General Industry – Cannabis
    • This Fed/OSHA 30-hour General Industry course is specifically designed and customized to address common safety and health issues by identifying hazards, and mitigating solutions in the prevention of injuries and illnesses as it relates to the cannabis industry.

Mobile Equipment

 

  • IVES Trainer Recertification
    • This 1-day refresher program is for IVES Certified Trainers of all types of equipment including: forklift, aerial lifts, loader, excavator and mobile crane.
